Welcome to the official blog for Alpha Lambda Delta & Phi Eta Sigma Honor Societies at UCLA!

This blog is our first step in a move toward a new and re-envisioned ALD|PES newsletter.  Every time you post to this blog and share your experiences (about a social event, community service, etc.), you'll receive 2 points!  Then, every few weeks, our Newsletter Editors will compile all of our most recent articles and publish them in a snazzy, polished newsletter.  (Neat, huh?)

Just a few things to keep in mind:
(1) There is no minimum/maximum words per article, but the best articles tend to be around 200 words.
(2) Articles about an event should mention the basics (who, what, when, where) but focus on your impressions of it.  (What did you enjoy about it?  What made it exciting, unique, or worthwhile for you?  Etc.)
(3) There is no limit to the number of people who can post about a certain event.  So if you feel like giving a new perspective on something that's already been written about, go right ahead!
(4) Member can receive up to 6 points per quarter for posting to the blog (i.e. 3 articles' worth), but you can still post as often as you want!
